Japanese Craft Books: Showing a Traced Pattern

Traced pattern piece
I've just finished tracing one of the pieces and I thought I'd share so everyone can see how it looks.

zoomed in on traced pattern piece
I trace everything, even down to the Japanese characters. That way I can match them up to the book. I also add the isbn of the book, any translations I've figured out, and the piece number (for example 1 of 7). I write this all down so if I make it again I'll know I have everything I need.

Read about how I trace a pattern here. Cutting will be next.

I am so glad that you shared that. I just purchased 3 books and I traced out my first one. Putting the IBSN on them and the number of pieces per pattern will help me to keep things straight. Thank you.
